Tears of emotion
She was preparing for a lonely night. 500 kilometers away from her loved ones at home, Andrea Berg performed on the evening of her 46th birthday at the "Winterfest der fliegenden Stars" in Riesa, Saxony. So far, so normal. But then a lot of tears flowed - and the singer even needed a schnapps!
What happened? Moderator Florian Silbereisen (30) knows Andrea Berg well. He knows how important the family is to her. And what it would mean to her on her first birthday after the death of her beloved father Hans-Jürgen († 68) to have around. So acted the showmaster. Secretly he invited her. He welcomed a total of eleven family members on stage.
Mother in law Inge Ferber down the show stairs. "That's where you put me down, " said Andrea Berg, and she shed a first tear of emotion. When her husband Uli Ferber (50) and daughter Lena (13) appeared after the nephews and uncle, all the dams broke. "Now I need a schnapps first!"
A special guest was waiting behind the stage. Her mother Helga (66) showed up in public for the first time after the car accident last March. The audience received the brave woman with thunderous applause. They hugged each other for several minutes. Lange had kept the family tight. Invented white lies and set the wrong tracks so as not to jeopardize the company.
"Madness, that's great!" - Andrea Berg was almost speechless. How nice that she has her family - and friends like Florian Silbereisen.
