Jogi Löw private: The secret private life of the national coach

"Jogi has always been the best!"

We learned where he likes to eat Schnitzel and go to church

When the national football team starts at European Championships or World Championships, the streets of Schönau are swept empty. Everyone wants to see "their Jogi" - national coach Joachim Loew (52) - on TV. Like now also with the European championship in Poland and the Ukraine. "The whole city is behind him, " said Mayor Bernhard Seger (66). A big banner stands above the entrance: " JOGI LÖW - good luck! ".

Maybe it still depends, if Jogi Löw comes back after the European Championship. Whenever possible, he visits his home town (2 245 inhabitants). "He is not a rare guest, his mother lives here, he often sees it, " says Seger.

Gladly goes Jogi Löw privately then the clubhouse of TuS Schönau turkey schnitzel with chips and salad (7 euros) food. Because the club restaurant is run by his younger brother Peter "Pit" Löw.

In any case, Jogi Löw associates a lot with his old club anyway. "Jogi was always the best, " recalls buddy Werner Hornig at earlier times in the D-youth at TuS. Here Jogi Löw even got to know his Daniela. With the businesswoman, he celebrated 2011 silver wedding. Loew certainly said a prayer for his love in Schönau's church "Maria Himmelfahrt" - there he was a servant as a boy.
