She is one of the most popular actresses in Germany and has the same bright eyes as her late mother, the actress Gisela Uhlen. Now, Susanne Uhlen (54) admits having had major problems with the menopause: "It's the puberty of old age, " she tells the magazine THE NEW.
"You annoy your environment and the partner just like a pubertal person." Also her life partner Henry Dawidowicz (44), with whom she has lived together for 14 years, suffered from it, she says. "He was shaken like any man who is with a woman my age."
When the symptoms got too big, Susanne Uhlen went to her gynecologist to get prescribed hormones: "Since then I feel much better. That does you good, keeps you young and, of course, keeps things that are related to menopause, as well as depression. "
