Upcycling Deluxe
Chalk colors are not only fully in vogue, they are also real all-round talents. We freshen with them small furniture and home accessories.
What you need for the console table:
- Console table (flea market)
- Amazona chalk color Citron no.12
- Amazona chalk color dove gray Nr.08 (0, 75 L, 29, 90 €, www.diekreidefarbe.de)
- Amazona quality wax, transparent (250 ml, 12, 90 €, www.diekreidefarbe.de)
- Furniture knob (dimensions: 2 cm, 3.95 €, white, www.car-moebel.de)
- soft cloth
- brush
And that's how easy it is:
1. Sand console table with sandpaper all around.
2. Take out the drawers and grind.
3. Paint the console table with AMAZONA chalk paint Citron No. 12 and let it dry.
4. Paint drawers with AMAZONA chalk paint dove gray Nr.08 and let dry.
5. Treat the console table and drawers with Amazona quality wax, transparently using a cloth.
6. Screw the furniture handles into the drawers and insert drawers.

What you need for the cardboard boxes:
- cardboard boxes
- AMAZONA chalk color slate gray No. 09
- AMAZONA chalk color Citron no.12

- Krakelierlack (craft shop, about 10 €)
- brush
And that's how easy it is:
1. Paint the cardboard box with a dark paint, eg shale gray, and let it dry.
2. Quickly apply with a brush the Krakelierlack, leave to put on and immediately with a lighter shade of chalk paint, eg Citron No.12, paint over the Krakelierlack. Let dry.

- Bedside table (flea market)
- Sandpaper (granulation 120, hardware store)
- AmazonaKreidefarbeEvergreen Nr.20 (0.75 L, 29.90 €, www.diekreidefarbe.de)

- AmazonaQuality wax, transparent (250 ml, 12, 90 €, www.diekreidefarbe.de)
- soft cloth
And that's how easy it is:
Sand the bedside table with sandpaper. Remove sanding dust with a cloth.
2. Paint the bedside table in the desired color and let it dry.
3. Using sandpaper on the edges, take the paint back down to get the look you want.
4. Apply the transparent Amazona quality wax to the chalk paint with a soft cloth to protect it. For permanent protection or in heavily used areas, the layer should be renewed from time to time.

And that's how easy it is:
1. Paint the fruit crates with the desired chalk color and let them dry.
2. Apply Amazona quality wax, transparent, over the chalk paint with a soft cloth. For permanent protection the layer is to be renewed from time to time.
