Discounter callback at the textile discount store KiK: Possible fire hazard with LED decorative light

KiK Textiles and Non-Food GmbH is currently recalling the yellow and petrol-colored "LED decorative light" with the order number 1043049. According to the manufacturer, the article may cause a fire due to a short circuit.

The discount chain KiK asks all customers not to use this LED decorative light:

The manufacturer warns that the contacts in the lantern can touch and there is a risk of a short circuit. Due to the resulting heat, the lamp can catch fire, a dangerous fire can spread . KiK asks all customers to return the affected light. It should not be used under any circumstances! The return is possible in all 3400 KiK branches in Germany. The purchase price of 1.59 € will be fully refunded even without a receipt .
