Model career despite Down syndrome

A happy bride is posing in a meadow, her veil blowing in the wind, she looks dreamily to the side. At first glance, nothing special, the second already.

Because the model in the pictures has the Down syndrome. 18-year-old Madeline Stuart from Australia celebrated her debut as a model at New York Fashion Week last year. This year, she was allowed a second time on the catwalk and so by the way got hold of a big modeling job for a bridal fashion manufacturer.

The 18-year-old not only struggles to advance her modeling career, but also to change the image of disabled people in public. And on her latest pictures Maddy could not look nicer!

In the shoot for bridal fashion designer Sarah Houston sprayed the young Australian just so energetic. In beautiful wedding dresses, she poses like a true professional and with her positive style on the set all.

Down syndrome is not a punishment

"Maddy loves the camera and the camera loves her, people should see her radiance and her stunning personality, " says her mother. "She wants to counteract the discrimina- tion of the disabled with her modeling career and change her image in public, and people should not think that Down's syndrome is not a punishment, but it's something to live with and not to care about has to hide! "

And Maddy's modeling career continues to pick up speed. She is now a brand ambassador for a cosmetics line and an outdoor brand, and a handbag has just been named after her.

What a great success for the pretty Maddy, her family and all people with Down syndrome. We can not wait to see what the 18-year-old is going to do next.
