Women look like modern goddesses in the models of the Italian designer Dimitri Panagiotopoulos, who is inspired again and again by his Greek origin. Dimitri designs glamorous looks with classic but feminine cuts and details. We met the designer shortly before his Spring / Summer show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

Intense shades, flattering cuts, a light silk knit, small-paisley patterns and feminine silhouettes bring Dimitri to the big stage for the summer of 2014.

His main roles are bright colors such as strong pink and bright yellow. "Last night we looked at all the outfits again and came spontaneously to the title 'United Colors', " says Dimitri. At the Berlin Fashion Week he shows a Mediterranean look that is very feminine.

" Summer fashion has to be sustainable, " says Dimitri, "Perfectly I find a light dress, perhaps made of chiffon, silk or light knit, to a Roman sandal and shorts and skirts become popular again."

Dimitri's collections stand for sensuality, self-confidence and sex appeal. The designer has always sent his mannequins on the catwalk as fierce beauties and designs for strong, successful women.

"I love Iris Berben or Sylvie van der Vaart, " says Dimitri, "Stand-alone women who are in the midst of life and can easily master anything, and of course, it would be amazing to have Monica Bellucci or Sharon Stone in my front row."

No wonder, women like goddesses.
