Diane was always on the road with her husband. The couple enjoyed life on all trains until Kate's father suddenly became ill with Alzheimer's. The diagnosis changed the everyday life of the family - Diane devoted every free second to her husband, who now lives in a nursing home. Today he rarely recognizes his wife and daughter. Diane has not only lost her partner, but also her best friend. The loss is noticeable in her free time, because this spends the brave woman today mostly alone or with her daughter.
It can not go on like that, Kate thinks now. After all, the world out there does not know what she escapes if she does not have this great woman as a friend! For this reason, the 31-year-old starts a campaign on Twitter to seek friends for her mother - initially without their knowledge. When the 67-year-old learns of the action, she is initially skeptical. But Diane would not be Diane if she did not get involved in the game. What has she got to lose?
