Formerly bearded, muscular and masculine. Because Sona Avedian from Michigan was once a man. But behind the facade of the rough marine soldier has always been a woman.
Earlier, Sona was named Matthew and was a Marine soldier. He was married, has a child and a wife. But early Sona knew that she is actually a woman. In November 2012 then the decisive step. She decides to go the road and become a woman.
And then everything went very fast. After eight months, Matthew Sona has become. With the help of hormones and laser hair removal treatments, optically Matthew became a woman. The breast implants also complete his female appearance.
Sona says today about her decision:
"I had a great wife, a great kid and a well paid job, but I could not hide anymore, I was exhausted."
