Findings from the holiday are converted into practical utensils. This is how easy it is to create a picture bar, a mobile and small wall vases.

You need this for the picture bar:

  • 3 pieces of driftwood
  • 2 x 2 m cord in orange (eg hardware store or glider supplies)
  • Cordless screwdriver with wood drill
  • staples
  • tape

And that's how easy it is:

1. Pierce the three driftwood pieces j e at both ends.

2. Pull the first piece of wood onto the two cords and tie a knot at the lower ends of the two cords so that the board does not slip.

3. Again at equal distance above the bottom board put one knot per cord and place the second board over it.

4. Do the same with the last board .

5. Knot the two cord ends together in the desired length at the top and cut them off.

6. Attach postcards, pictures, etc. with staples or adhesive strips as you wish .

Tip: We hung the strip on a wall hook, which is covered with a piece of driftwood. The ends of the cord may merge with the lighter.

You need this for the mobile:

  • driftwood
  • Acrylic paints (Martha Stewart Crafts about efco)
  • white shells (depot)
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue
  • Parcel cord (post)
  • brush
  • Holzbohrer
  • scissors

And that's how easy it is:

1. Paint the horsehorses as you wish with different shades and let them dry well.

2. Glue two shells together with hot glue and glue a piece of string at the top for the suspension.

3. Pierce three roughly equal pieces of horse mackerel at both ends.

4. Cut three equal length sticks of string and put a knot at each end.

5. Lay the three horse mowers in a triangle with one end of the stick above the other so that the drill holes overlap.

6. Pull the parcel strap with the unknotted end through two overlapping rafters.

7. Take the three string cords together with a little distance from the triangle and knot them. Above the knots even shorter horse mackerels can be threaded.

8. In the desired order and length mussels and colored horsehorses are knotted alternately at the triangle.

You need this for the wall vases:

  • Minivase (depot)
  • Driftwood transparent spray (color: Haze Orange, mtn-shop.de, per can 3, 70 €)
  • Craft wire (craft shop)
  • match
  • Picture hanger self-adhesive (craft shop)
  • maybe thumbtack
  • nail
  • flowers
  • Cordless screwdriver with drill
  • wire cutters

And that's how easy it is:

1. Drill a hole in the driftwood to attach the vase to the desired location.

2. Sprinkle the minivase outside or in a well-ventilated room with the transparent varnish and let it dry well.

3. Place the craft wire around the edge of the vase neck and knot it. Take the ends together and thread them through the hole in the wood.

4. Tighten the wire on the back of the piece of wood and wrap tightly around a match to prevent it from slipping out.

5. Attach a picture hanger on the back, at the upper end of the piece of wood, possibly with a thumbtack additionally secure.

6. Hang the vase construction on the wall with a nail, fill the vase with water and arrange the flowers.
