Does he end up as tragic as his friends?
The many fans who saw Costa Cordalis (69) on stage in Chemnitz (Saxony) recently are still shocked: The once so attractive singer was unrecognizable. Suddenly he collapsed shivering and sweaty in front of his audience! Paramedics stormed onto the stage, had to treat him.
What's happening? Why is Costa, who obviously has major health problems, in this state? Seven years ago he was still fit, was well trained and muscular "jungle king" in the RTL show.
Is he bloated with cortisone?
Today, nothing is left of this power. Costa Cordalis : "I am still very weakened after my spinal surgery." He was bloated allegedly from the drug cortisone . But he also has quite a few beauty treatments behind him. Does he end up as tragic as his friends Rex Gildo (1936 to 1999), Drafi German (1946 to 2006) and Bernd Clüver (1948 to 2011)? "Many of my colleagues are no longer living, " says singer Tony Marshall (75).
"That's scary. They never believed that they had to say goodbye so early. And now I'm worried about Costa. He's a friend of mine, and I'm always there for him. "Tony Marshall knows how hard the hit industry is, finding it sad that the Old Ones are being dumped or dwindling in fading fame. "Costa is one of the best artists we have in Germany, " says Tony Marshall. "I'll keep my fingers crossed that he'll be better soon."
Let's hope that Costa Cordalis listens to the warning signs of his body. That he takes enough time to get well, so that he can often enjoy hits like "Anita".
