When pepper pieces turn into sails and scrub pieces into car seats, our dwarf kitchen has struck. Cheerful colorful favorite dishes for children, which is not only super easy and delicious, but also totally healthy.

It must be colorful and tasty . No shrimp, no caviar and no carpaccio. What moms and dads love is a horror for most children. They just like it. Without a lot of bells and whistles. The simpler, the better.

Pizza, meatballs and pancakes - the top three of our children's favorite dishes . Followed by fries and sausages, pasta with tomato, minced meat or cheese sauce. Vegetables or salad? None. Unusual combinations or spice blends? Likewise passé. It tastes like what. And these are not often colorful dishes. Red tomato sauce, yellow pancakes and colorful pizzas.

Fish stick tower with potato salad

Ingredients for 4 persons)

750 g firming potatoes, salt, 16 frozen fish fingers, 1 small onion, 1 tsp olive oil, 200 ml vegetable broth, 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar, 1/2 bunch chives, 2 red peppers, 1/2 cucumber, Lemon wedges and chives for garnish, 4 wooden skewers, baking paper

preparation

1. Wash potatoes and cook in water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime lay out a baking sheet with parchment paper and distribute fish fingers undiluted on it. Bake in preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 ° C / circulating air: 175 ° C / gas: stage 3) for 15-20 minutes.

2. Peel the onion and finely dice. Heat the oil in a small saucepan and sauté onions. Deglaze with broth and simmer for about 1 minute. Season with lemon juice, salt, pepper and sugar. Put in a bowl and let cool slightly.

3. Drain the potatoes, fry cold and peel. Slice the potatoes and add to the marinade.

4. Wash the chives, pat dry and cut into fine rolls. Quarter the peppers, core and wash. Use a cookie cutter to cut out 4-8 anchors. Cut 4 flags from the pepper. Cut the remaining peppers into pieces. Wash the cucumber, peel the shell into strips, quarter and core. Cut cucumber quarters into pieces.

5. Put the pieces of cucumber and pepper on wooden skewers. Add chives, peppers and cucumber to the potato salad and mix. Remove fish fingers from the oven. Serve as rafts with the flags on plates. Add the potato salad and serve garnished with lemon wedges and chives.

Bumper car

Ingredients (for 12 pieces)

50 g cooked ham, 50 g gouda cheese, 1 egg (size M), 2 tbsp milk, about 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3 tbsp oil, 175 g flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 cucumber (about 3 cm), 3-4 large radishes, 1 carrot (about 3 cm), 2 tbsp double cream cheese, dill blossoms or parsley stalks to garnish, fat for the mold, 6 toothpicks, 1 small freezer bag

preparation

1. Cut the ham into small cubes. Grate cheese. Mix egg, milk, salt and oil with the whisk. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in the mixture. Finally add ham and cheese. Put the dough in the greased pans (12 pieces) of a muffin tin and flatten with a damp spoon. Bake muffins in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / circulating air: 150 ° C / gas: stage 2) for about 20 minutes.

2. Take the muffins out of the oven, carefully remove them from the mold and allow to cool on a kitchen grid.

3. Halve cucumber piece in half and cut into 2 mm thin slices. Clean radishes, wash and cut out 24 small beads with the pearl cutter. Clean the carrot, peel it and cut into 12 slices, about 2 mm thin.

4. Poke small holes in the muffins with the pearl cutter 2 and insert the radish balls. Place a cucumber slice on the back wall. Cut a disk straight and place it in the space as a seat cushion. Halve the toothpick and put 1 carrot slice on the blunt end. Insert the toothpick into the muffin as a steering wheel in front of the seat. For the antenna dip dill blossoms (alternatively parsley) behind the seat in the muffin.

5. Stir cream cheese until smooth and place in a freezer bag. Cut off a small corner of the freezer bag and use the cream cheese to draw a line around the scooter as a bumper. Possibly put Playmobilkinder in the car scooter.

Hotdog raft on mashed potatoes

Ingredients for 4 persons)

750 g floury potatoes, salt, 400 g frozen cream spinach, 12 small, 1 tablespoon oil, grilled sausages, 1 red pepper, 150 ml milk, 1/2 teaspoon butter, grated nutmeg, 12 toothpicks

preparation

1. Peel potatoes, wash, halve and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Slowly warm the spinach and 2 tablespoons of water.

2. Assemble 3 sausages with 2 toothpicks for each raft. Heat the oil in a pan and roast 2 rafts from each side for about 3 minutes. Keep 2 rafts warm, then fry the 2 other rafts.

3. Quarter the peppers, clean and wash. Cut out of each quarter a large triangle for the sail. Heat the milk and butter and pour to the potatoes. Pound potatoes and season with salt and nutmeg. Fix the pepper sirloin on the rafts with a toothpick and arrange with spinach and mashed potatoes.
