This is especially true if you have dry eyes or cataracts. The preservatives contained in the drops should prevent the proliferation of fungi or bacteria in the liquid. They are prescribed by law for eye drops that are used for prolonged treatment beyond the 24-hour mark.

Tips for protection against dry eyes

If you have an office job with regular screen work, you should take more frequent breaks and consciously blink. So the tear film is evenly distributed over her eyes . Also, protect your eyes from drafts and outdoors from UV rays by wearing sunglasses. Proper nutrition can also help to keep your eyes moist: for example, eat vegetables such as spinach, brussels sprouts, broccoli, corn or kale - these types of vegetables contain lutein.
