Tanja Wedhorn (38) is not the only one on TV right now! She is pregnant with her second baby. And secretly, the wedding bells rang, as she revealed now ...
The new: In "My wonderful family" you can be seen with real pregnancies . How was the filming?
Tanja Wedhorn: The first time of the pregnancy was really miserable, but that was over after three months. During the movie I felt great again.
Do you sometimes have a guilty conscience that your three-year-old son falls short when you work?
Tanja Wedhorn: When I went to work for the first time after the birth, I was worried about how Theo would react. But when I came home in the evening and he laughed at me, I knew that would work. Meanwhile, he goes to the daycare and has fun!
Is it difficult to reconcile work and family?
Tanja Wedhorn: I have it much better than most working mothers. I do not work eight hours a day, but spin for a while, then spend several weeks or months at home. The birth date for my second child is the beginning of January. Until then I will probably be completely at home.
Who cares for Theo and the baby when you're on the road?
Tanja Wedhorn: My family is great together. My mother and mother-in-law help us a lot. And my husband is really a great dad and just does it very well.
Is he a good diaper changer?
Tanja Wedhorn: A very good one - even if we do not have that at Theo anymore. For me it is very important that my husband helps with the education and makes no big fuss about it. I would find it very difficult if I had someone at my side who would take charge of who would have done something to us.
You talk about Simon Raiser as your husband all the time. Did you marry after 18 years of partnership?
Tanja Wedhorn: Yes, Simon and I got married last December . It was wonderful! We have the covenant for life on the coldest day of the year. With a bright blue sky, snow and ice in Berlin . So I'm a real winter bride. With friends and relatives we celebrated a great party.
Do you also marry church?
Tanja Wedhorn: Next year I will give birth to our second child. Because an ecclesiastical wedding must be well planned, it will probably be nothing before 2012. But then really nice and big!
