Enchanting winter embroidery

This pillow is not only decorative, but thanks to hidden inner life also provides pleasant warmth on cold winter evenings.

You need this:

  • For the cushion cover:
0.15 m counting lines in silver
0.40 m linen fabric in gray brown
    0.15 m Vliesofix
    0.60 m ruffle band
  • For the heat cushion:
    0.25 m cotton fabric
    750 g of millet
    3 tbsp lavender flowers
  • cutting:
    Linen 25 x 15 cm
    Linen fabric 37 x 55 cm
    Cotton fabric twice 24 x 37 cm

And that's how easy it is:

1. Embroider the embroidery pattern from p. 55 in the middle of the linen and then iron the fleece behind the embroidery.

2. Cut the linen with an addition of about 2 cm. Line the short edges of the linen fabric 1 cm wide.

3. Fold the short sides of the hotel closure over each other so that the front is 22 x 35 cm. Mark the front.

4. Iron the embroidery centered on the front side, glue the ruffled ribbon onto the linen edge with a little textile glue and then stitch the ribbon tightly.

5. Fold the short sides over one another right to right and sew the sides together. Apply the heat pad cover.

6. For the heat pad, sew the cotton fabric blanks around right to right and leave a turn-around opening free.

7. Apply the pillow and fill it with millet and lavender flowers.

8. Close the reversing hole. If you like, quilt chambers in the heat pad. Pull the cover over the heat pad.

The heat pad can be heated in the microwave or oven. ATTENTION: Do not put the heat pad in the microwave with its cover! Test yourself slowly on the optimal heat of the pillow. After a short time take the pillow out of the microwave or oven and distribute the grains inside. Then heat again if necessary
