Holy trousers for the pontiff
What should the Pope wear in his spare time? Best jogging pants! Diesel founders Renzo Rosso thinks that this is the case and presented the head of the Catholic Church with a specially made trouser for him.
It's a strange picture of Renzo Rosso facing the pontiff and proudly handing him a white diesel jogging jean . The expression on Pope Francis ' face reveals something between confusion and trying to be friendly - a bit like our dad under the Christmas tree when he unpacks a pair of socks again.
Does Renzo Rosso think that the traditional papal robe needs an update? And is the JoggJeans, a cross between sweatpants and jeans, really a suitable alternative? We really do not believe that Pope Francis accepts the fashionable suggestion from the Diesel founder and suddenly casually brushes through the Vatican in his jogging pants . Of course we would like to see it anyway ...
Anyway, Renzo Rosso had a lot of fun with the priest and wrote on Instagram "A day that will stay in my life forever ...". We do not know (yet) whether the Pope is doing the same.
