Of course, there are women who stand by it, but to be honest, more than half of women can not get excited about an iPad or anything like that. But with this gift idea, all men are on fire. It does not matter if it's 20, 40 or somewhere in between. The bad part is that it does not even have to be Christmas.
For example, my dad recently had the case with my parents: Daddy bought Mama a laptop and since my mom can not and will not do anything with it, daddy plays with it and carries it around with him. But he bought the little thing for mom. And, to prove that this is not an isolated case, I have another example: The friend of my colleague gives her an iPad. She does not want that, but he is convinced that she needs it. And it's no doubt that he's obsessed with engineering stuff.
When she told me that, I really had to laugh, because that happens more and more often. They certainly mean good, but making selfish gifts really requires courage. Sometimes you can get a bad mood, although not the gift counts. Because the thought is more important and is in such cases no "I want to give you something great" but a "I give you something, but actually I give it to me".
Men are not like us women, they are having a hard time. But rather a wrong-bought perfume that smells of Klospray as something he has actually bought for himself and wants to turn us - the will counts and is sometimes questionable.
For women, this time of gifts is always exciting. Of course you can also buy a gift yourself and say that you get it from him. But you should have been together for a long time, otherwise our prince would be offended and we all know which Drama queen is sleeping in them (also to be seen in men's colds).
There are always positive surprises!
Of course, there are exceptions that will find the perfect gift and then we women look forward even more, because we did not expect that. To prevent all the stress, every year I have a wish: "Surprise me". Of course, I keep saying it over the year, which is great, but that's normal. Ideas usually have men enough to give us something for a year every day, but they always forget that. Therefore, nothing speaks against a window shopping in the Christmas season with a subtle "Oh, look, that's great!", Right?
One thing is clear, no matter what they give us, we love them. Because sometimes they work up a sweat because they do not know what is supposed to be under the tree. In any case, I already practice my sentence "Oh, honey! That's nice! ", So that he is credible in the worst case. They make an effort and that's why they deserve all the enthusiasm we can muster. Most of the time it's forgotten to think about how they've been plagued with wrapping paper, ribbons and ribbons.
In this sense, I wish all women (and of course all men) a wonderful Christmas and remember: We love them and there are always positive surprises!
