What a heartfelt moment! Less than a month after the tragic death of Lea Micheles sweetheart and "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith, the actress had her first public appearance at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. There she received a prize for her performance as Rachel Berry in "Glee" supported and directed by her "Glee" colleagues Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley and Kevin McHale touching words to the audience.

At the event on August 11, 2013 in Universal City, California, Lea Michele thanked her fans for their support during the "very difficult final weeks" following the surprise death of Cory Monteith on July 13, 2013. The "Glee" actor was on a deadly cocktail of drugs and alcohol.
