Caution: A net product may contain carcinogenic residues and damage your health. Netto Marken-Discount now launches a callback!

Those who still have freezer prawns from Netto in the freezer should not eat them anymore. The manufacturer DKSH GmbH has recalled a batch of the product of the brand "Sea Bear", with which Netto Marken-Discount was supplied.

The shrimp may contain carcinogenic residues of nitrofuran decomposition products. When eating the product "health problems" can not be excluded . Nitrofuran is an antibacterial drug that has been carcinogenic in animal studies and is therefore banned in Germany.

Concerned are "Child Prawns Prawns - Natural Prawn Tails, Deep-Frozen" of the brand "Sea Bear" in the 250 gram pack with the best-before date 03.11.2016 and 04.11.2016. The dangerous product has been sold in numerous Netto brand discount stores and is now officially recalled by the manufacturer.
