Simple, fast, effective

Easter is approaching with huge steps. If you still need a few ideas for decoration quickly - here are 5 simple DIY ideas with scraps.

You need this for the Easter eggs from fabric leftovers:

  • Cotton fabric, for 10 eggs about 15 cm (width 80 cm)
  • approx. 12 cm per egg for hanging
  • fiberfill
  • paper
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • French chalk
  • pins
  • Sewing machine and matching yarn

And that's how easy it is:

1. Draw an egg on paper about 8 cm in length and cut out.

2. Attach the pattern to the doubled fabric and transfer contours with a tailor's chalk.

3. Cut out the egg, staple both layers with pins.

4. Attach the top of the trailer strap centrally between the fabric layers.

5. Stitch with a zigzag stitch all around, leaving a 3 cm opening at the bottom.

6. Fill the egg loosely with cotton wool, also stitch the opening in a zigzag stitch.
