Star interview with Jared Leto
Main thing crazy! Jared Leto, 42, would never play a role just because she is well paid.

He is Hollywood's man for extremes. Jared Leto already played a junkie and the homosexual lover of Alexander the Great. He shot John Lennon and in "Dallas Buyers Club" smuggled Aids medications as a transvestite. At the same time he built a parallel career as a rock musician - with 30 Seconds to Mars. The series of his ex-lovers, including Cameron Diaz and Paris Hilton, is top-class.

At first glance, the actor looks like a skinny boy - with the slim physique and the 1.75-meter-height no wonder. But it is Jared Leto's provocative and at the same time wide-awake look that says everything about him: this is not a man who is content with half-heartedness and mediocrity.
JOY: In your current role, you wear women's clothing. Did you find out something new about yourself?
Jared Leto: That I have pretty legs (laughs). And in high heels they were even better.
Did that make you feel feminine?
You could say it like this. I never wore trousers when shooting, just clothes and tights. But it felt the weirdest when I depilate my entire body.
They are extremely thin in the movie. How thin exactly?
I took 20 kilos for this role and weighed only 56 kilos. Fortunately, no steady state.
How did you lose so much weight?

For the drama "Chapter 27", in which I played the murderer of John Lennon, I have packed 30 kilos on it. I got gout from that. Why are you doing this? The onset was idiotic. I do not want to repeat that. But I think you have to suffer a bit if you want to achieve something. Those who do not say anything do not work hard enough. Many great things that have been created have claimed enormous sacrifices. What do you sacrifice for your band 30 Seconds to Mars? Once I cast a note on Clint Eastwood for concerts. That was before our band succeeded. And with solid relationships, it looks bad. I am currently married to work. Do not you miss the love? Not really. Especially because I have so much fulfillment in my professional life. Apart from my creative satisfaction, the affection of my fans gives me a lot. Does it suppress you when you have feelings for a woman? No, I would not say that. I do not run blindfolds around. But love is a hurricane, a rainbow. Meaning, it just happens. You go through the city and suddenly it falls from the sky.
