You need this:

  • Wool blended yarn (50% pure new wool, 50% acrylic, running length 55 m / 50 g), 750 g in light blue: Mille II by Lana Grossa
  • Crochet Hook No. 7
  • Cushion inlett, 50 × 50 cm

And this is how it's done:

Knitting tension:
Fixed stitches, needle no. 7
9 M × 11 R = 10 × 10 cm

The cuddly pillow you work on the back very easy with fixed stitches. For the eyecatcher front you also use half rods and lots of air mesh. Just be careful: All chains should be exactly the same length, so that the chic loops are also pretty evenly and properly hermachen.

Front Pillow:
Sequences between asterisks (*) are repeated. You start the front of your curly pillow quite easily with a chain of 48 air meshes.
1st row: Crochet 1 sturdy stitch in the 2nd stitch from the needle and into each other stitch, finish with 1 turn-over knit, turn.
2.-30th ROW: Now you crochet 1 single crochet in each stitch.
31. ROW: Crochet 1 stitch into the 1st stitch, repeating the following sequence to the penultimate stitch * 8 stitches, 1 stitched stitchette (fMv) *, 1 crochet stitch into the last stitch, 2 reversible stitches, turn.
32. ROW: Crochet 1 half stick into each stitch in the row.
33.-56th SERIES: Repeat the 31st and 32nd rows continuously. Cut the thread and sew it.

Back Pillow:
For the back of your comfy pillow you now crochet a chain of 48 meshes.
1. ROW: Crochet 1 sturdy stitch in the 2nd stitch from the needle and into each other stitch, finish with 1 turn-over knit, turn.
2.-56th ROW: Now crochet 1 single crochet in each stitch until your crochet piece is 50 cm high. Finally, you cut the thread, pull it through the last loop on the needle and sew it.

Completion:
Now you put the two pillow sides on each other, the left sides are facing each other. With the mattress stitch you sew the pillow together quite easily. Now just pull the cushion cover over the ticking, close the last page with the mattress stitch and sew the threads.

Tip:
The pillow also looks very chic in black and white, by crocheting the back part in one color and the front pillow half white, half black. That's how it gets really curly! Be creative!
