Bookworms beware!
Book cover: You can easily make this eloquent decoration yourself.
You need this:
- material
- tape measure
- fabric scissors
- pins
- Sewing machine with matching yarn
- self-adhesive silicone letters (Bastelladen eg of idea about 20 euros)
- Acrylic block (craft shop)
- Stupfpinsel (craft shop)
- Textile paint in blue (craft shop)
It's that easy:
Book cover:
1. Cut fabric to the size of the book plus about 8 cm on the short sides for the inserts.
2. Cover the edges with the sewing machine.
3. Turn over the short sides to shelves and sew.
Stamp technique:
1. Arrange the self-adhesive silicone letters on an acrylic block.
2. Use the Stucco Brush to dab the textile paint on the letters.
3. Press evenly on the fabric. Let dry.
4. If necessary, fix the fabric paint according to the manufacturer's instructions.
