The big knick-special in the Tina
These soft knitted baskets are the perfect helpers for the cold season. Made of soft knit can be stored here all kinds.
What you need for the knitted baskets:
- "Benevito" by SMC Select (wick yarn in felt look, 50% pure new wool, 10% alpaca, 40% acrylic): 150 g in petrol (Fb. 01380) or 100 g in lilac (Fb. 01305)
- Needle no. 8
- Circular Needle No. 8
And that's how easy it is:
Pattern:
Smooth right = knit only right sts (M) on each round (Rd)
Instructions big knit basket:
Cast needle 8 M in petrol (2 sts per needle) and knit in Rd:
- R0: double every st (= increase 1 st, but knit 1 st from the cross thread) = 16 sts
- Rd: knit all sts right
- Rd: * 1. Duplicate M, 1 st on the right, repeat from * = 24 sts
- Rd: smooth right
- Rd: * 1. Duplicate M, 2 sts on right, repeat from * = 32 sts
- Rd: smooth right
- *1. Duplicate M, 3 sts turn right, repeat from * = 40 sts
- Rd: smooth right
- ROOTING: * 1 sts doubles, 4 sts right, from * repeat = 48 sts
- Rd: smooth right
- R0: * 1 st, doubles 5 sts to the right, repeat from * = 56 sts
- Rd: smooth right
- Rd: * 1. Duplicate M, 6 sts right, repeat from * = 64 sts
Knit another 9 rounds on the right. Then work a decrease round: For this work * 2 sts right together, 6 sts right, repeat from * = 56 sts. Knit one round right. Then remove M again: * Work 2 sts together on right, 5 sts on right, repeat * = 48 sts. Knit one round left st. Then cast off all sts.
Instructions small basket:
Using needle pinion, cast 8 sts in lilac (2 sts per needle) and knit in stocking st. Work until the 9th Rd like the big basket. Knit another 8 rounds to the right. Then work a decrease round: For this purpose knit +2 sts together right, 4 sts right, repeat from * = 40 sts. Knit one round right. Then back to sts: * Knit 2 sts together on right, 3 sts right, repeat * = 32 sts. Knit one more yard. Then bind off all stitches.
