Since the laundry photo of the supermodel surfaced in the net, the comments skip. And: everyone is thrilled, they love Cindy Crawford for their courage and honesty. "She looks even better than usual!" or "naturalness is the most beautiful!" it says on Twitter. One that apparently sees it differently: Cindy Crawford himself. So far, the supermodel has not commented on the photo. It's a pity that it would be the right moment to offer a strong statement to the superficial fashion and beauty industry. Especially when it comes from a strong and powerful woman in the business like Cindy Crawford.

What we would really like to have said: Dear Cindy Crawford, you have done great! You love yourself the way you are - with all the wrinkles and blemishes that a woman of almost 50 years has. Respect for so much healthy self-esteem! That is what few have. And most would like it.

And what we have to write unfortunately: Cindy Crawford's unretouched image could have been a strong sign against the prevailing beauty craze, but the supermodel does not participate, so far took no position on the photo. Instead, her husband Rande Gerber posted a picture on Instagram that shows her taut, slim, and immaculate as she did in the '90s. A denial to the leaked photo? We find a great pity.
