We know Dutch waffles. And Belgian too. But banana bread waffles? Crunchy-crispy delicacies from the land of unlimited possibilities.

For the Saturday brunch or the Sunday coffee - freshly baked banana waffles are a treat. The tempting treats to fruity jam and creamy quark taste especially delicious. A hearty treat!

Banana waffles recipe

Ingredients (4-6 waffles)

180 g flour, 60 g roasted coconut flakes, 1 1/2 tablespoon baking powder, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 3/4 tbsp salt, 3 eggs, 225 g sugar, 55 g brown sugar, 135 ml oil, 3 bananas (crushed)

preparation

1. Mix together flour, 45 g of grated coconut, baking powder and cinnamon.

2. Beat eggs and sugar in a separate bowl until creamy for 4-5 minutes. Add the oil slowly and carefully fold in the dry ingredients. Mix with the crushed bananas.

3. Preheat and grease the waffle iron. Bake 8-10 waffles one after the other. Serve waffles with remaining grated coconut. It tastes of jam.
