You need this:
BLUE:
- dishtowel
- Ironing board and iron
- 2 equal-sized wooden strips
- clothespins
- 2 screw clamps
- bucket of water
- Batik / Färbefarbe
PINK:
- dishtowel
- Ironing board and iron
- 2 wooden squares (10 x 10 cm)
- different rubber bands
- bucket of water
- Batik / Färbefarbe
And this is how it's done:
BLUE:
1) Place the dish towel lengthways in front of you. Kick and iron at any distance. Fold accordion-like to the end and iron.
2) Pin clothes pegs evenly at the folded edge.
3) Provide the strand with wooden strips at the top and bottom and secure the clamps. Soak the material in cold water, mix the dye bath. Dye the fabric for approx. 10 minutes while stirring. Rinse under cold water, loosen screw clamps and clamps and rinse again. Now just dry and iron.
PINK:
1) Place the dish towel lengthways in front of you. Once at a distance from a wooden plate, fold over and iron over once. Fold accordion-like to the end and iron over.
2) Strip across wooden board size, fold like an accordion and iron over.
3) Lay both wood panels around the accordion square.
4) Fix the wooden boards with rubber bands to create a checkerboard pattern. Soak the substance in cold water. Stir the dye bath, stain the fabric for approx. 10 minutes, then move. Rinse in cold water. Loosen rubber bands and wooden plates, rinse again. Dry and iron.
