We are surrounded by toxic substances every day. In the city, in the countryside and even in schools, toxic gases are in the air. So far unobserved: the household. In addition to various cleaning agents, they are exposed to many other poison sources - without knowing it.
1. Toxic chemicals in the perfume
Many women have a perfume that accompanies them throughout their lives. What few people know: In most cases, perfumes are contaminated by toxic chemicals. The result of a study by the Environmental Protection Agency from 2011 is supported by a test result of the magazine Öko-Test. 29 of the 30 perfumes tested contained so-called polycyclic musk compounds, in 21 perfumes could be detected worrying plasticizers. These can lead to allergies, dizziness and nausea, but also negatively affect the fertility and kidney activity.
2. Plasticizers in plastic containers

3. Polybrominated flame retardants in mattresses and upholstered furniture

4. Plasticizer in the shower curtain
Just jump in the shower - that can be dangerous especially for children. The reason: softener phthalates in the shower curtain. These are related to children, have a negative impact on the brain and the willingness to learn.
5. Negative radiation in smartphones
Nobody really knows how dangerous cell phone radiations really are. Researchers have been discussing for years whether electromagnetic fields and radiation are related to various diseases. The 2012 BioInitiative Report aims to find that cell phone radiation affects the development of cancer cells. The World Health Organization, however, sees no connection between the use of smartphones and the development of cancer cells.
6. Solvents in cleaning agents
Cleaning agents and detergents sometimes contain chemicals that can negatively impact our health. Bleach and solvents, alcohol or fragrances and preservatives - when it comes to fighting stubborn stinking devil, the household industry knows no bounds. Only solution: do without and do it yourself.

Various aluminum compounds in the deodorant are suspected to cause breast cancer and Alzheimer's . Whether this assumption is correct or not is not yet confirmed.
