It's the summer's surprise: Al Bano Carrisi and Romina Power have ended their quarrel. After 14 years of radio silence and bitter allegations, the duo has finally reconciled !
Al Bano and Romina were married for 29 years and had four children: Christel (born 1985), Romina Jr. (born 1987), Yari (born 1973) and eldest daughter Ylenia Carrisi (born 1970). A picture book family.
And on stage Romina Power (61) and Al Bano Carrisi (70) celebrated great successes together. With hits like "Sharazan" or "Felicità" they became megastars.
But in 1994 the shock: her beloved daughter Ylenia disappeared without a trace. The pain was so great that they could no longer handle it together. The couple parted.
This was followed again and again by mutual accusations, which were held in public. But all that is over now and the two have reconciled .
"Al Bano is the father of my children and the man I loved, you have to bury old mischief, " said Romina Power. The singer has already visited her ex-husband and his new family.
Together they even want to be on stage again. The occasion is two concerts on the 70th anniversary of Al Bano, which was already in May.
"Our fans insist that Romina and I perform once again, the concert in October is a gift to them for the faithfulness and love they bring to us, with Romina I have three children, I'm sure they're happy, when we sing together, peace has come between us again, "said Al Bano.
