Post for me! The huge package that has just arrived in the editorial, more reminiscent of the result of an online shopping marathon - but contains my dinner today. The sender is the nutritional and delivery concept "cooking magic", which delivers in German cities such as Berlin, Cologne or Munich once a week cooking boxes along with recipes and all necessary ingredients (for three or four meals) on your doorstep.
After the problem-free registration on the homepage www.kochzauber.de are on my menu for the SHAPE test veal medallions with mushroom risotto and rosemary sauce. Each of the "cooking magic" dishes should be prepared in a maximum of 35 minutes and can be ordered optionally for two or four people. Vegetarians unfortunately have bad cards, because meatless boxes are not yet in the range. With three meals per week, the delivery service for two people costs 39 euros: expensive compared to pasta, cheap compared to restaurant visits!
Cooking magic package perfectly equipped
When unpacking, I see that the box contains besides the main ingredients really everything to taste: A sprig of rosemary, a spoonful of broth, a toe of garlic - it is thought of everything! In the attached recipe, the preparation is explained step by step! But even though I'm kitchen-tested, light cooking panic comes up in the meantime, as I boil up between risotto and broth and just have to quickly clean the mushrooms, which should actually sizzle in the pan.
Special dishes in a short time
After almost 40 minutes, the veal medallions can be cooked perfectly cooked, the risotto has become wonderfully creamy and the rosemary sauce has also been successful. I am happy to be able to serve my friends and me a fine meal.
My conclusion: The "cooking magic" box is a great thing for people who value a healthy and balanced diet, but in everyday life often have no time or desire for a bulk purchase. For a fair price, cooking magic offers regional products and stress-free cooking. For too picky palates or people with a food intolerance, the service is not suitable, because it is cooked, what is in the box! There is no compulsory subscription, so if you prefer pasta, you can pause indefinitely. Magical!
