Prince "Poldis" daughter marries film producer
Bavarian celebrities and father of the bride Prinz Leopold (68) had been waiting for this: On May 12, Princess Felipa von Bayern (31) finally married her Munich film producer Christian Dienst (34).
The romantic wedding took place in the Bavarian Steingaden. The Wieskirche, which normally serves as a place of pilgrimage, also provided exactly the right setting for the royal dream wedding. A truly royal ceremony was offered to some 500 guests in the imposing Rococo church, one of the most beautiful of its kind.
Although Queen Silvia of Sweden had to cancel at short notice, there were plenty of celebrities - including Fritz Wepper and Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.
Prince Leopold and Mrs. Ursula were visibly proud of daughter Felipa. Ex-racing driver Prince "Poldi" had already revealed that he was very happy with the choice of his daughter and lucky enough to get such a great son-in-law.
