Future church leader sees himself as duty

While Prince William (31) proudly presents new photos of his son George, heir apparent number three, as heir to the throne of the world's number two, Prince Charles (64), as a direct throne contender in a very different field, launches a highly acclaimed charm offensive in his country.

Charles made a generous donation for a medieval church loosely. The beneficiary is the Bothwell Parish Church in Lanarkshire (Scotland), which dates back to the 14th century and whose masonry begins to crumble.

In order to make the representative building fit for the future, the parish needs about 2.5 million euros, which are to be raised by various large and small actions and patrons of every caliber.

There is the noble affection of Charles (the exact height is treated discreetly) more than welcome. "The amount is high, " writes the local press. The reason for the noble gesture of Prince Charles one also believes to know: He is after his accession to the throne head of the Church of England and sees himself apparently in the responsibility.
