When the great love goes, she takes a part of us with her

Laughter echoes through the stairwell. Glasses clink. People are crowding into the hall. But one has quietly withdrawn into a corner: Peter Weck (81).

It was his first public appearance after the death of his Ingrid († 70), who died unexpectedly from a heart attack less than three months ago in April.

At the "Bavaria Film Reception" in Munich, Peter Weck ("I'm marrying a family") shows up again. Bravely, he now tries to master life without his wife. But how is that supposed to work when someone was all for one?

In an interview, Peter Weck says softly: "I have lost a bit of my joie de vivre and many tell me that I should not fall into loneliness and go back to people, so I'll try it."

But it still costs him so much power! Peter Weck knows: "I can not run away." This terrible stroke of fate overtakes me everywhere, I have to see how strong I am. " Suddenly the actor struggles with tears, holding on to the glass of water. He looks so terribly lost ...

He can not think about work: "I can not concentrate, I've canceled everything." His children Barbara (43) and Philipp (41) are now there for him. "They take care of me, " says Peter Weck. And at that moment, a tiny smile flits across his face.
