This is what you need for the salt soap:

  • 250 g of coconut oil (25%)
  • 300 g almond oil (30%)
  • 250 g olive oil (25%)
  • 100 g castor oil (10%)
  • 100 g jojoba oil (10%)
  • 125.8 g NaOH (10% superfatting)
  • 350 g of distilled water
  • 15 g ÄÖ rosemary
  • 15 g ÄÖ Litsea Cubeba
  • 1-2 g green-blue (turquoise) as powder pigment (Behawe)
  • 350 g of salt
  • small (silicone) forms
  • Himalayan salt, at will

And this is how it's done:

1. Gently melt the coconut oil, add liquid oils and allow the mixture to cool to approximately 40 ° C.
2. Make the lye from NaOH and distilled water, taking into account the safety rules. Pour the cooled lye to the oil and use the stick blender to thicken the mixture.
3. After thickening the soap mass, add essential oil and color and mix with the hand blender.
4. Then add the salt and stir with the mixing spoon.
5. Fill into small silicone molds and top with Himalaya salt if you like.
6. Insulate well or put in the oven for about 1 hour at 50 ° C to push the gel phase.

Tip: I recommend individual shapes because brine and salt soaps are difficult to cut. After a day's sleep, the soap can be taken out of shape.
