Big donation campaign: tina calls her readers to help

The former tennis pro Stefanie Graf has been involved with refugee children since 1998 with her foundation "Children for Tomorrow". Because children are the most innocent victims of the wars and have experienced violence and panic on their flight. Stefanie Graf calls the readers of tina for a fundraising campaign to provide these children with psychological help.

The terrible experiences of the war are very stressful for refugee children. But not only that, the escape from the war zones to Europe is bad for the children! "The worst traumas take place in Europe. Important for traumas is the rapid treatment, so that the fear is not anchored "says Stefanie Graf in an interview with the tina.

Stefanie Graf calls together with her foundation "Children for Tomorrow" and the magazine tina to a fundraiser. With the money collected, the psychological treatment of refugee children should be paid so that the children can better process the experiences and settle in well with us.

Process tumultuous experiences

"Today, fortunately, we know how important the treatment of war traumas is. It is the prerequisite for a peaceful coexistence "says the tennis legend. But refugee children do not just have to process their traumatic experiences. "In addition, the children are under enormous pressure, they have to find their way in a new environment in a short time, learn the language, get along in school or kindergarten".

Tina calls for donations

The psychotherapeutic work takes place in the foundation house on the grounds of the university hospital Hamburg. But it is not only in Hamburg that refugee children need support, but throughout Germany. The Foundation is committed to helping many more children.

"For tina it is important to help people in need, especially children. That's why we like to use our long reach to fight for good and to provide the best possible support for Children for Tomorrow, "says editor-in-chief of tina Sabine Ingwersen. That is why the tina in the current issue is calling on its readers to donate for this action, so that the money can help many more children.
