Dining area with taste: a banquet in Voilett
A decoratively staged wall shelf, warm wood and berry tones and a self-built bench with storage space invite you to a table in style.
PREVIOUSLY
The classic but drunken dining set missed every charm and offered zero space for guests. The too-meager wallboard gave away valuable storage space potential. And with the table and the chairs on the much too small carpet, the dining area seemed almost full.
Design the dining room : AFTER
Picture above: An inviting dining area has been created between the bench and the wall shelf. The earthy wood tones of furniture and parquet, together with the red and purple color accents, create a cozy atmosphere. White chairs and light curtains bring freshness to the room. The highlight, however, is the self-made bench made up of kitchen modules: the doors have been converted into practical flaps. The building instructions are available for download here.

The later the evening ...
... the more sociable the round. As our bench runs the full length of the wall, it is flexible here: if there are more guests than there are seats available, the dining table is pushed off the wall and two lower stools are used. Extra chairs from the next room expand the loose mixture.

Here we stay! After dinner, the bench becomes a cuddly reading place. For this we turn the swiveling lamp over from the table. As soothing soul there are candlelight, tea and biscuits.

Shelves on the opposite wall emphasize the cozy character. Beautiful is presented here open, Practical disappears behind the superior MDF board. At the memo board
with integrated lighting notes take place. The dining room is a highlight: the cupboard doors now serve under the seat as storage space flaps.

Storage space, backrest, seating and presentation area: The converted kitchen cabinets turn out to be true all-round talents, but still remain discreetly in the background.
