Children catchers in Northern Germany on the move: Under many pretexts they try to lure children into their cars. So far without success. But parents are rightly very worried.

They pretend to be friends of the parents, promise sweets or cute little animals: With these meshes in northern Germany are currently several men trying to lure children into their catches. Often they frolic around kindergartens and elementary schools and lurk on the children here. So far, fortunately no child has been misled, but the parents' fear is great.

In the meantime, the cases are piling up. On 9 June, a fat man in Kaltenkirchen tried to persuade an eleven-year-old to come with him. On the pretext that her mother was in the hospital, he wanted to convince her to come with him. Luckily she did not let herself be confused and ran away.

In Stockelsdorf (also Schleswig-Holstein) a full-bearded man wanted to lure a little girl in his black car. His scam: kittens who should be in his car.

Most recently, on September 9th in Groß Steinrade, two children were approached by a complete stranger. He had Lollis with him and wanted to convince the children to get in his van. However, the five-year-old boy and the six-year-old girl did not go with the man.

As the Lübeck police said to the picture, you would see at the moment no connection between the individual acts. Still, it looks as if it would deal with the children catchers in northern Germany for different men. Parents are still alarmed. They oversee their children and do not let them out of their sight.
