Thank you for the flower!

In the XXL format, the flower pillow helps even the simplest piece of furniture to greater attention. The exact sewing instructions can be found here!

That's what you need for the flower pillow:

  • template
  • 8 patterned fabrics
  • 1 plain-colored fabric
  • fiberfill
  • French chalk
  • fabric scissors
  • pins
  • Sewing machine and matching yarn
  • sewing needle

Template:

And that's how easy it is:

1. Transfer the template of the large petal to eight substances and cut out.

2. Place 2 sheets right side together and sew the long sides together.

3. Take a new sheet, sewing right to right on one of the already sewn together leaves. Continue with all the leaves until the circle closes.

4. Transfer the stencil of the medium-sized petals to 4 fabrics and cut out.

5. Sew these leaves with zigzag stitch always opposite to 4 seams of the big flower.

6. Transfer the template of the small petals to 4 fabrics and cut out.

7. Sew these with zigzag stitch on the still-free seams, between the medium-sized sheets.

8. As a final step for the front, transfer the circle to plain fabric, cut it out and sew it with zigzag stitch in the middle of the flower.

9. Using the pre-sewn front as a template for the monochrome back side: transfer contours with a tailor's chalk to the plain-colored fabric and cut out. Place fabrics right to right and sew together, leave approx. 10 cm seam open for filling.

10. Turn the pillow, fill with cotton wool and sew the seam by hand.
