Recipe currywurst sauce

Ingredients (4 people)

1 onion, 3 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon strong curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon tomato paste, 100 ml orange juice, 1 tin (425 ml) chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper

preparation

Peel onion and chop finely. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a saucepan. Fry the onion in a glassy sauce. Stir in curry powder, sugar and tomato paste and lightly toast. Deglaze with orange juice and tomatoes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and cover, simmer for 20-30 minutes.
