Homemade blinds for the window

Do not feel like the neighbors can constantly watch your flat unhindered? With this privacy screen, the problem is a thing of the past. And he is still cheap.

Actually, beautiful big windows are something fine, because they bring so much light into the apartment. The only problem is that they give our neighbors an excellent view and possibly insights into our lives that we do not want to share with them. So what do you do? The complete window with curtains hanging? Unfortunately that also means that we lose all daylight. Blogger Annabel Vita was struggling with a similar problem. She designed her own DIY privacy screen for your window. Not only does it look good, it is also cheap.

What you need for the privacy screen:

- 2 tablespoons corn starch (Mondamin)

- 2 tablespoons of cold water

- 350 ml of boiling water

- and as much lace as is necessary to glue the window

Step 1

Mix Sträke with cold water and then add the boiling hot water. Stir everything until smooth and allow to cool.

2nd step

Now cut the lace to fit. Before doing so, take the exact measure.

3rd step

Coat the window with the previously mixed adhesive. Make sure everything is evenly distributed. Then press the tip against the window and then paint over it again with glue. Finished!

According to blogger Annabel Vita, the privacy screen can also be installed in rented apartments because it is easy to remove. Just go over the top with hot water and a sponge and then peel off. Remains of the strength stick to the window, they can be removed with really hot water.
