Happy Birthday Fanta
Happy Birthday Fanta! The cult drink celebrates its 75th birthday this year and with it the variety Fanta Klassik : a retro version of the cult drink - based on the original recipe, with whey product, apple extract and less sweet in the taste.
Fanta from whey product and apple extract? In fact, the original Fanta had little to do with the taste of our Fanta today. It was not until the mid-50s that an Italian bottle maker developed the Fanta, as we know it today - sparkling, fruity and with a hint of orange. But from the beginning.
The success story of Fanta began more or less out of necessity. There was a war in Germany. The growing shortage of raw materials brought production of Coca-Cola to a standstill. The result: between 1942 and 1949 there was no more Coca-Cola to buy in Germany. In order to secure the continued existence of the location Germany, a replacement product had to be produced. The Fanta was born: a whey and apple pulp soft drink whose raw materials were always available during the war.
A fantastic idea - do not you think so? At least as FANTAstisch and FANTAsievoll like the Fanta itself - thought you probably also in-house and decided without further ado to call the new soft drink so.
Now it is back: the Fanta Klassik - with dairy product and apple extract . How she tastes? We have tested the old / new Fanta and find FANTA table. What surprised us: The Fanta does not taste like milk. On the contrary: it tastes totally natural, rather refreshing and not at all so sweet - maybe even a bit of orange juice spritzer. And that is also noticeable in the sugar content. Fanta Klassik not only contains less sugar (minus 5 percent) but also fewer calories (minus 12 kcal per 250 ml glass) than the popular Fanta Orange.
Travel back in time with Fanta Klassik and see for yourself. Another new addition to the Coca-Cola family: Coca-Cola Life - Stevia instead of sugar.
