They belong to Christmas, such as Christmas tree decorations: "Three hazelnuts for Cinderella" and "The Little Lord" ensure every year in German living rooms for magical Christmas spirit. They put a smile on our faces, touch our hearts and put us back in our youth.
But what happened to the actors of "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" and "The Little Lord"? What are you doing today?
"The Little Lord" was featured in the movie by Ricky Schroder (42). With the role he had the breakthrough as a child star. And unlike ex-child stars such as Macaulay Culkin (32, "Kevin - Alone at Home"), who later became the focus of drug-related scandals, Ricky Schroder is a savvy actor, director and scriptwriter.
The filming of "The Little Lord" were less exciting for him then: "I was mostly with adults together, rarely with peers, " he says. Lonely he felt. He found his luck despite the pressure of a child star. With his wife Andrea, he has four children and lives with her on a ranch in California.
Also "Three hazelnuts for Cinderella" is an absolute Christmas classic. The film is such a phenomenon that every year it runs on several TV channels. And again and again, half of Germany is watching. The cheeky Cinderella, played by Libuse Safrankova (59), enchants with charm and stubbornness.
Also for Libuse Safrankova came with the film's professional breakthrough. She is still an actress and returns to the Czech cinema in 2013. She has also found happiness in private. She has been married to actor Josef Abrham (73) since 1976 and has a son.
Ella Endlich (28) sampled the world-famous film song "Kiss Me, Hold Me, Love Me" and was also a great success, like "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella". The song made it to number 12 on the German charts.
Pavel Travnicek (62), who took over the role of the Prince in "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella", probably took a somewhat too private look at his television personality privately. The "charmer" has already made three divorces and is now married to a 27-year-old presenter.
At the end of the 90s, he founded his own theater in Prague and insists on taking on one or the other role himself. He also presented the Czech television show "Do-Re-Mi" until 2006 - a casting show for amateur singers similar to "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" .
