Tasty - with onion rings!
Vegan Mett tastes delicious! Simple, fast and delicious - the recipe for a healthy alternative to traditional Mett!
For 4 people Vegan Mett you must have these ingredients (preparation time 20 minutes):
- 50 g rice waffles
- 3 onions
- 50 g of tomato paste
- ½ tsp mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon each dried
- Parsley and oregano
That's how it works:
Finely crumble the rice cakes.
Peel 2 onions and finely dice.
Stir onions, tomato paste, mustard and 2-3 tablespoons of water.
Season with salt and pepper.
Put the rice waffle mixture in a bowl and cover covered with cold for at least 5 hours, preferably over night.
To serve, peel 1 onion and cut into rings.
Season the rice waffle mixture with nutmeg, parsley and oregano.
Serve vegan breast and garnish with onion rings.
