We found our new companion for cold days in the snow. This knitted handbag will carry your smartphone, wallet, keys and more cuddly and safe on the icy roads to any date. What we especially love about her? The snow-white yarn with the classic cable pattern and the round handles, which give the bag a retro look.

Schachenmayr / SMC Boston (70% acrylic, 30% pure new wool superwash, length about 55 m / 50 g), 200 g in Fb. 02 nature, Milward knitting needles No. 6 - 7

12 sts and 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Smooth right
in rows on the right, knit in reverse rows on the left
seed stitch
Knit 1 st on right, 1 st on the left, change every other row

The pockets consists of a straight knitted rectangle. We just put it halfway, then the side seams are closed.
Cast on 44 stitches and knit 10 rows in stocking drawstring. Then in the middle area increase 3 stitches, then knit in this pattern division about 56 cm: 17 M pearlescent pattern, 13 M cable pattern as drawn, 17 M pearling pattern. Finishing with 10 R on the right side, while doing so, remove 3 sts in the 1st row. Close the side seams, sew over the hem. Turn a drawstring and attach tassels to the ends. Secure the bag handles.
