Napkin idea for the barbecue: apron

You need this:

  • Vichykarostoff in light blue
  • Vlieseline (department store)
  • Light blue cotton fabric
  • red sewing thread
  • Satin ribbon in red
  • each 1 x paper patterned and in white
  • Glue stick (eg from Pritt)
  • Iron
  • scissors
  • sewing machine
  • Lochzange
  • red felt-tip pen

That's how it works:

1. Iron the checkered fabric Vlieseline.

2. Cut an apron from the checked fabric and a small bag from blue fabric.

3. Sew the bag with red yarn on the apron.

4. Sew the apron about 0.3 cm from the edge with red yarn, with a 15 cm long satin ribbon to tie on each side and a loop of satin ribbon in the upper part.

5. Cut a small rectangle from the white paper and stick it on the patterned paper.

6. Cut out the rectangle a little bit larger, so that a patterned edge is created.

7. Punch cards, name them and tie them to the apron.

Tip: Tie the apron around a napkin and put the baguette bread underneath.
