Stars as designers: Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie is serious about her design career. The days when she still hopped around with Paris Hilton, two-tone hair and Juicy Couture's It Girl chic on the reality TV show "The Simple Life" are long gone.

Instead, the 29-year-old once again with a new collection of their label Winter Kate, named after her daughter Harlow Winter Kate, on. Minimalist, with a restrained color, yet with a lot of skin: this is the look of the autumn collection for Nicole Richie, which she designed in June 2011.
Velvet capes and checked pattern
The main parts of the collection are short shorts and skirts or dresses in check pattern, the typical boho tunics with paisley pattern in black and white, maxi dresses and velvet capes in dark blue.
All in all, maybe a bit breezy, when we think of the German autumn, but Nicole Richie lives in sunny Los Angeles, where these clothes will certainly be great to wear. And if that's not the case, she can still be warmed up by her husband Joel Madden, the singer of the rock band "Good Charlotte".
