The boxes are great not only as a Christmas gift wrapping, but can also be used later as a police officer.
What you need for the gift boxes:
- Wooden box with lid, 15 x 23 x 23 cm
- Fabric for the lid, 39 x 39 cm (Fabfab about stoffe.de)
- Fabric for the lower part, 71 x 71 cm (Fabfab about stoffe.de)
- double-sided adhesive tape (eg from Tesa)
- Geschenkband
- tape measure
- pencil
- fabric scissors
- Hobby scissors
And that's how easy it is:
1. Place the lid of the box on the fabric and measure around an edge of 8 cm. Cut fabric.
2. Provide the edge of the lid with double-sided adhesive tape on the inner edge. Cut off the protruding edge of the tape and peel off the protective film.
3. Place the lid in the middle of the fabric, pull the overlapping fabric over the edge and press firmly.
4. Carefully hammer the corners inwards, creating a straight edge.
5. Do the same with the lower part of the box, except that the addition for the edge is 25 cm.
6. Decorate the boxes with gift ribbon and pendants.
