AQUA- JOGGING - demanding endurance training

What's the matter?

In aqua jogging, the body floats in the water and gets buoyancy through a vest or belt (below the chest). Up to 800 calories per hour are burned. The intensity of movement when running is very high, because you have to work against the resistance of the water.

Important: The head, chest and hips should form a line if possible.

For whom is it suitable?

Ideal for fitness beginners! Advantage for jogging on land: Injuries are hardly possible, because you can neither fall nor bend over.

AQUAROBIC - Effective Muscle Building Program

What's the matter?

This workout will do aerobic exercise in the water. An all-round program that gently trains endurance and agility. Working against water resistance strengthens the muscles and trains the cardiovascular system.

Great: 45 minutes of aquarobic burn about 600 to 1, 000 calories. Nevertheless, the soreness mostly stays off as the water massages the muscles and they are better supplied with oxygen in the water.

Extra tip: Some health insurances pay the entire fee for an aqua aerobic course. Just ask!

For whom is it suitable?

Both beginners and fitness professionals get their money's worth at the Aquarobic: If the exercises are performed slowly, the water offers only little resistance and the effort is rather small. On the other hand, if the exercises are performed quickly, the resistance increases and the muscles are stressed.

AQUA ZUMBA - Wild dance fun

What's the matter?

Absolutely trendy! Danced to rousing salsa or reggae rhythms. While the trainer shows the movements on the edge of the pool, the course participants swing their hips in the water. One hour of aqua- Zumba burns up to 450 calories.

Important: It is not important to master complicated sequences of steps. The only thing that counts is to move to the music - and just have a lot of fun.

For whom is it suitable?

Aqua Zumba is suitable for all ages. In contrast to the Zumba, the workout in the water especially protects the joints and bones.

AQUA-QIGONG - feel-good break for the soul

What's the matter?

Qi stands for life energy, Gong means work or income. Through movement, breathing and meditation exercises blockages in the energy pathways of the body, the meridians, are to be solved, in order to bring the Qi in the body to flow.

Important: The exercises should be slow and supple. Training is done with balls or water noodles.

For whom is it suitable?

Aqua Qigong gives peace and serenity, balancing body and soul. Perfect for those who need a break from the stresses of everyday life.

Why is training so good in the water?

The pressure on the blood vessels is increased - therefore, the heart rate remains constant even with great effort. The temperature difference between water and air stimulates the immune system. Pathogens are repelled more effectively. In the water, the body weighs only a fraction of its weight on land. Movements are easy to implement - without muscle soreness.

What should I consider and where can I take courses?

It is best to train 30 to 45 minutes three times a week. The water temperature should be 26 to 30 degrees. Courses (10 dates from approx. 60 Euro) are offered in many swimming pools.
