You need this:
BLUE:
- Cotton pillowcase (50 x 50 cm)
- Ironing board and iron
- 4 triangles made of wood (about 4 x 10 cm)
- clamps
- water
- bucket
- Batik / Färbefarbe
PINK:
- Cotton pillowcase (50 x 50 cm)
- Ironing board and iron
- rubber bands
- flat box
- water
- Batik / Färbefarbe
And this is how it's done:
BLUE:
Pillow cover accordion-like thirds and over iron. Cross-folded accordion cushions crossways, accordionwise thirds and over iron. It creates a square. Place wooden triangles like a split square on the folded cover. Place the other two triangles in the opposite direction on the underside. Firmly fix triangles with two screw clamps each. Soak the fabric in clear, cold water for about 15 minutes. Mix the dye bath according to the packing instructions. Dye the pillow cover for approx. 10 minutes, always moving. The longer the pillowcase floats in the dye bath, the more interactive the pattern becomes. Rinse the pillowcase under cold water, loosen screw clamps and wooden triangles, rinse again. Cushion cover to hang dry on a leash. Then iron.
PINK:
Pillowcase in front of you. Kink and iron at a distance of approx. 10 cm, fold the accordion up to the end and iron again. Roll up the accordion strips tightly. Wrap the elastic bands around the rolled-up strip. Soak the fabric in clear, cold water for about 15 minutes. Mix the bath according to the instructions in a small plastic box. (The box may only be about 2-3 cm filled with hot water or colored bath). Put the rolled-up pillow into the dye bath for approx. 8 minutes. Then turn the pillow roll over so that the other edge is also dyed. After another 8 minutes, rinse cushions under cold water, remove rubber bands, rinse again. Cushion cover to hang dry on a leash. Then iron.
