Knitting fans beware
This cute basket offers knitting accessories a cozy home. Made of fluffy felt, it fits perfectly with a cozy interior.
What you need for the felt basket:
- Felt 3 mm thick, 50 x 50 cm (www.frautulpe.de, 26, - €)
- compasses
- Ruler / folding rule
- triangle ruler
- French chalk
- fabric scissors
- embroidery thread
- embroidery needle
And that's how easy it is:
1. Cut the felt into a 50 cm diameter circle. Make a hexagon by dividing the circle with a triangle into six equal parts (6 angles à 60 ° degrees). Draw edges with tailor's chalk.
2. Cut along the edge of the hexagon approximately 14 cm to the center.
3. Place the ruler at the end points of the cut edge and connect it with a tailor's chalk with a straight line. Cut off the roundabout along the line.
4. Fold the opposite felt triangles together and sew them together at the outer tips.
